23. More Research at the NCRS Than You Thought

The North Central Research Station has been in existence for 28 years and is mainly known for its research in crop fertility.  However, in recent years the NCRS has been expanding its profile into a wider variety of experimentation with the advent of Contract Research. 

This is where research projects are conducted for other agricultural companies who are in need of high-quality and replicated plot research in all sorts of areas.  This includes testing not only in field crops, but also growth enhancers in our apple orchard and herbicide soil-persistence trials, to name a few.  If it has to do with crop testing, contact the North Central Research Station about setting up a trial.
